CLAS takes part in the construction of the new L’Île-Rousse breakwater (Corsica) built with BS1 blocks under the Breakwater Solution™ program

 

 

The company NATALI, specialized in maritime works throughout the Mediterranean, has chosen CLAS to provide comprehensive technical assistance for the implementation of BS1 blocks, which are license-free and developed under the BREAKWATER SOLUTION™ program.

 

The mission entrusted to CLAS includes:

- the preparation of the placement plan for the BS1 blocks,

- safety training specific to the installation of single-layer concrete armour units,

- on-site technical assistance underwater by a team of professional divers,

- daily quality control of the armour layer, and

- the final Class A certification of the structure.
